I'm a lecturer in Animation at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, and a self-publishing graphic storyteller working across autobiography and educational/informational comics for print and web. Recent projects include partnerships with Swinburne's Centre for Urban Transitions and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, as well as Swinburne's Social Innovation Research Institute. Recent publications include Kicked out during Coronavirus (ABC Radio National), How to have better arguments about the Environment (The Conversation), and Can I have a pet and be housed, too? (The Conversation). Other recent projects have included making comics and illustrations for Hope Assistance Local Tradies and CNBSafe, as well as for Kontext, a German psychology journal. Apart from that I really like bread, sleep, and patting small animals. PeakD account- https://peakd.com/@dcfisher
