180 Degrees at Sunset

Horseshoe Bend is portion of the Colorado river just outside of the town of Page, Arizona. The color of the rocks, cliffs and sand will change though out the day depending upon where the sun is located in the sky, but sunset produces the brightest colors. In the distance are the Paria Plateau and Vermillion Cliffs. This photograph was taken at sunset looking down 1000 feet of the cliff at the colorado river while also taking in the entire view of the sunset. It was approximately a 180 vertical view.
