Here's a poem I wrote:
Look at the horizon
There is only water everywhere;
Swells of memories
Dispelled at dawn
Cold foamy waves
Go back the way you came
What is good about a beach
If you own the entire ocean?
It brings nothing but calamity,
That heavenly sound
When it hits the shore
Dragging restlessness;
Your thoughts are in an uproar
And their madness within them,
"How sad my life has been",
That prisoner once said,
Imprisoned by the beauty of the sea,
He does not flee, nor forgets,
He prefers to stay still
And wait for death to show him the end.
