[Felt pen, paint pen, and colored pencil on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.]
This is one of the pieces that I drew while sitting next to the pool (in one of the few shady spots) at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. Being around a large number of humans---even when they aren't directly interacting with me---is exhausting, and I tend to get overstimulated and (frankly) kind of nasty. Instead of lashing out, I try to take it out on the cardboard. (Fewer lawsuits that way!) So this is an uncomfortable piece for me, but I like it anyway!
