Giacomo Bruni (Fumo 腹墨) was born in Perugia in 1986. In 2018 he participated in an international artistic training project at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (广州美术学院). In 2019, he graduated from Jinan University in Guangzhou (暨南大学), with a Doctorate degree in Literature and Art theory. And from September 2019 to present, he has been studying Chinese landscape painting at the China Academy of Art (中国美术学院) in Hangzhou. He has exhibited several of his works in different cities in China, through solo and group exhibitions. At the beginning of 2020 he founded the Shanshui project, which aims to promote contemporary Chinese painting through exhibitions and a magazine.
