On visual art vs photography.
Photographers tend to have a "more realistic" view on things than visual artists do, and I think this is the main difference between them, a topic that I was discussing with a photographer on instagram; we agreed that visual artists see photography more as a way of doing "painting" rather than doing "photography" itself, while photographers just try to capture what "they see" in the most realistic way possible, to "freeze time".
