Beefsteak Tomato Monster

I was angry that beefsteak tomatoes were torn from the plants at the community garden I maintain. Then I started drawing a cut surface of beefsteak tomato with a face. Beefsteak tomatoes are meaty large tomatoes. There are several varieties from red, dark red to yellow like Cherokee Purple. Their juicy, slippery fruit is like raw meat. Just make a thick slice, sprinkle pinch of good salt and eat it with a fork and a knife as if you are eating steak. You can make a great sandwich with toasted bread, a slice of beefsteak tomato, basil leaves and mayonnaise.
