While substantial efforts and resources were dedicated to their research, the phenomenon was still a complete mystery to science. Though no conclusive evidence of their origin was found, the objects were presumed to originate from a higher dimension. Thus scientists dubbed them 'hyperspatials', a term previously used for referring to interdimensional geometry on a theoretical level.
