Frida Kahlo in Japan

This is my vision of Frida Kahlo wearing a traditional Japanese kimono and visiting Japan. The inspiration came from a dream and my original kimono dress design. I imagined what it would be like if Frida visited Japan, and how she might perceive Asian culture, fashion, and traditional art. Surprisingly, the combination felt very natural, as reflected in this artwork. Through this piece, I also wanted to express themes of diversity and neurodiversity.
