Summoning

Warped is a series where i explore various ways to translate my traditional works into the digital world. I don't think the experience of a painting can ever be conserved in photograph or by any means of reproduction. While the painting is unique to me, i have strange attraction to try out some of the common image manipulation methods that no doubt become very recognizable. With this combination i hope to create something interesting. I've also attempted to produce some music to go with it though it is almost completely foreign territory for me. The original painting Lumen, was a look through a screen into the waves of the internet,representing it's many vices and virtues.. I feel like in the Summoning we are not merely settling at glaring at the screen but are beckoned to dive to the other side..
