𝑅𝑒𝓉𝓇𝑜 + 𝕍𝕒𝕡𝕠𝕣𝕨𝕒𝕧𝕖 = Rҽƚɾσɯαʋҽ! This work was made in response to the stories of people defending their homes with guns from mobs of protestors in the Spring of 2020. I made the subject African American and the home futuristic to add another layer to the discussion; imagining the same dynamic under totally different and anachronistic circumstances. The addition of rain is my foreshadowing of bad things to come; the driveway is a literal & figurative slippery slope. I used ColoriseSG to colorize the original B&W image. I used Photomosh to add the glitch animation, and Ezgif, Giphy & PowerPoint to combine the glitchy subject with the rainy background.
