[Felt pen on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] For some people (computer folk, I'm looking at YOU---with my mind's eye, not literally), the day revolves around a screen and a sitting position. I'm not saying that's bad, but I AM saying, for the sake of your mental health, you need to go outside every once in a while. Show your brain that the world is BIG. That space goes further than just the walls around you. (This is advice that I have to give MYSELF all the time.) Expand your mental-scape by EXPERIENCING different settings: a pub, a park, a lake, a family gathering... Then, once you've made yourself uncomfortable and reminded yourself why it's so HORRIBLE out there (loud, too many people, expensive, shitloads of bugs, too hot, dirty, allergies), then you can go back to your little safe space and be HAPPIER knowing how great it is THERE compared to the yucky out-doors...
