"I'm Not Asking You to Believe Me" by RFY & FEH

[Crayon , felt pen, and inky hand prints on paper with digital embellishments and color.] In the spirit of all great collaborations, each contributor brings something unique to the composition. I admit to being the photographer and digital colorist on this one, but the piece would not be an dynamic or exciting without the additions made by my not-quite-two-year-old granddaughter, Felicity. We make LOTS of art, so deciding what to tokenize and what to just keep in a drawer or tape into a notebook is getting more and more difficult. This piece, however, made the cut rather easily, in my opinion---not because of any great commercial appeal in the drawing, but because of the frantic energy and happy memories clearly captured on that page. (If this piece never sells, I'm fine with that. I'm just pleased with the fact that it exists!) ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool) with help from Felicity Echo Hanson (Fool in Training)
