"Leech" by RFY & FEH

[Crayon, felt pen, and sticker collage on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] This is another collab with my granddaughter, Felicity Echo Hanson. I suspect, by the time she's ten, she'll be out creating and out selling my by a factor of ten, so I'm enjoying our time making works together. Many of the physical pieces we create end up either being taped into one of our handmade books, or they get repurposed for other projects and worked over. The DIGITALLY COLORED works, like this one, often represent only one phase or step in the creative life of a particular work. (I'm particularly happy with this one. The colors are vibrant, and the 3-D element is cool. Of course, I only have one working eye, so I see 3-D differently than you regular, 2-eyed folks... Ha! Lucky me!!!) ---Richard F.
