"Pink Eye" by Richard F. Yates (HF)

[Felt pen, crayon, and digital drawing on found notecard with digital embellishments and color.] I had pink eye once when I was in junior high. It was itchy and uncomfortable and gross. I've had a crazy obsession with it ever since---even though most of the time it's not that serious of a condition...but it LOOKS awful, when it's in full bloom. Plus, there's the whole "eyes wide open, but vision still obscured" metaphor that I enjoy. ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)
