Victor Schegin "Seehund" is a traditional painter who creates digital images to then paint from. He refines his reference pictures so much, they end up being digital artworks on their own. The artist now exhibits his paintings - including the one based on this picture, in Paris - near the Champs-Elysées.
"Intense atmospheres, subjects without shadows, between the fall and the ascent, evoke imagination, dreams, and our lack of control in our lives. It reminds of childhood's magic : the impossible does not exist and everything remains conceivable. Those subjects concern everyone and add something closer to everyday life to these surreal scenes."
