Fuji

Mount Fuji on the island of Honshū is the highest mountain in Japan, standing 3,776.24 m (12,389.2 ft). The mountain stands about 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Tokyo and is visible from there on clear days. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is snow-capped for about five months of the year, is a cultural icon of Japan and depicted in art countless times. The underlying artwork for this NFT is a traditional gouache painting on paper, measuring 40 x 30 cm (15 ¾" x 11 ⅞"). Its digital representation measures 2,800 x 2,100 pixel and has been carefully color corrected to match the appearance of the underlying in normal daylight as closely as possible.
