giant hybrid Cthulhu

Cthulhu Mythology deities The well-known American science-fiction author H. P. Lovecraft (1890-1937) also created a number of fictional deities during his literary career. These beings are usually portrayed as immensely powerful, surreal creatures which seem brutal, although some beings are even worshipped by the people in the stories. These deities include the "Great Old Ones" and aliens, such as the "Elder Things." The "Elder Gods" are a later addition to the creation of other creative writers and artists who took Lovecraft's concepts and even developed them further. Thus, Mister August Derleth, to whom the story of the Cthulhu Mythos is attributed, will also be a familiar name to those who are already somewhat involved with this science-fiction world. It should be noted that the majority of these deities were Lovecraft's own creations. The so-called common thread in Lovecraft's stories is the total insignificance of humanity compared to the cosmic omnipotence, horror and terror that exist in the universe. In doing so, Lovecraft repeatedly references and mentions the so-called "Great Old Ones." But who or what should this be more precisely? It can be paraphrased as a loose pantheon of ancient, powerful deities from the universe who once ruled the earth and have since fallen into a death-like sleep. The stories are similar in comprehension to some Marvel comics.... In other words, very convoluted. Lovecraft named several of these deities as follows: Cthulhu, Ghatanothoa, and Yig. With some exceptions like Cthulhu and Ghatanothoa, this loose pantheon apparently exists "outside" of normal (at least as we know it) space-time events. In the stories, these beings are worshipped by various human and inhuman cults, but they are, as far as I understand it, mostly imprisoned or limited in their ability to really interact with most humans. Why? Well their habitats are other like, under the sea, inside the earth, in other dimensions, and stuff like that, there are fewer humans just hanging around.
