Flying Squirrel

Flying Squirrel was created on printer paper with a real light quick pencil sketch and then inked with some Prismacolor micron pigment ink pens. The pencil was then erased and the rest was hand-colored one layer of Prismacolor colored pencil at a time. The final draft was then scanned digitally and mildly edited for sizing and quality purposes. The highest quality scan at 1200dpi with 13184x10192 dimensions is included as the unlockable file upon purchase. This image is a squirrel riding a giant flying butterfly the same way a person would ride a horse and is a somewhat realistic image mixed with a little bit of whimsical fantasy. I began this work in late 2021 and finished it towards the end of the first month of 2022. This is also the first piece of art minted in the Rubarbia series.
