Patterned Dreams

My first series for NFT is entitled "The Pattern of Life" and it's inspired by both my love of wallpaper as well as the short fiction "the yellow wallpaper" I love the idea of the madness of patterns , but also how a character can become part of her surroundings to a point of merging: The intricacies of the mind and the patterns of fabric, wallpaper, and relationships. For this series on NFTShowrooms, I really wanted to have the movement of sketch to colour demonstrating how in my own creation of art I am often moving from a few lines of pencil or charcoal to intricate layers of colour and pattern.
