Gus is an old forester who has dedicated his whole life to protecting nature. He feels a special connection to the animals and plants around him. He is against logging and poaching, especially poaching that threatens the lives of endangered species. Someone once asked him what he would ask for if he had the chance to be granted any wish and he replied that he would like to make doggies see that they don't need more than what the world offers them to have a good life. Sometimes he thinks his efforts are futile because of the power of corporations to devastate ecosystems, but then he remembers that a single action can change the world and continues to fight for the tomorrow he desires.
