[Felt pen on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color!] Too much chlorine (and toxic waste) in the pool. Martin was mutated beyond all recognition...but he still liked to swim! AND he soon got a job in a traveling oddities show, made a million dollars, and installed a gigantic, toxic, sludge pool at his winter home, where he retired (with all of the heads he eventually grew) and lived happily for many, many years until, eventually, transporting his astral body to a planet on the other side of the galaxy (where he found a job in a spiritual novelty shop selling trick gum and fake dog poo for the rest of eternity...) ---Richard F.
