"Say, Helen?..." by Richard F. Yates (HF)

[I don't know what this piece of art came to be. I think it started as a digital drawing in my phone, but then something happened...] Full title: "Say, Helen? What Was That Tea Made From?" I remember, back in the late 1980s, I was at a "Nintendo-Fest" at the local shopping mall, where someone had set up dozens of little t.v.s, and all these high school students where GLUED to the screens playing Super Mario Bros. and other "high tech" games of the day. I learned, partway through the day, that a friend of mine had made a special tea (from some fungi that he found in a cow pasture) that he shared with a number of the players at the fest, so just about everyone there was tripping to high heaven! (Not me. I've never been much of a drug consumer. People take drugs to get to where I LIVE. I'm high as shit all the time cuz my head is damaged! Ha!) Fun times... I loved the '80s... ---Richard F.
