Living primarily in the high, glacial covered Cascade Mountain Range, the Purple Yodeler is a rarely seen cryptid from the Pacific Northwest. This photo, one of the few verified by the Washington State Parks Association, was taken in 1971 as the creature walked back towards his mountain habitat---after watching a concert by the band, LOVE. The photographer, Henry "Crackerjack" Saunderson, who asked the creature about the concert, claimed it responded, "They were wild, man. '7 and 7 Is...' Man.... So far out..." After this short interview, the creature bummed a smoke, and then shambled into a line of trees and disappeared...
