When I'm creating a piece , I tend to create an entire universe that is rich in heroes and their particular stories. These heroes have authentic, known only to us, human emotions. I think this is a key ingredient of why my art is making people feel certain emotions, right on the spot. My multi-year art practice - combined with a deep natural sensitivity, enabled me to achieve a unique artistic skill. As I'm creating a piece, I often feel as if literally painting the narrative w i t h emotions. I even started calling this artistic treatment 'SERF'ing - which is short of 'Sentimental Emotional Reframing'. When creating it often feels like gliding through visuals, while leaving behind a trail of subtle droplets of emotion - just like a comet leaves a trail of ice and debris. Similarly, the beautiful ice crystals portray a light and pure beauty, the dirt and debris are resembling the heaviness, ruggedness and toughness of existence. My art speaks of both love and abandonment, wholeness and loneliness.
